DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION, REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICIES
Ella’s Vacation Rentals is a very small property management boutique and cancellations and changes to arrival and departure dates affect us significantly. All cancellations are subject to a $25 service charge. In order to operate the business effectively and to continue to provide the best possible service to our guests, we must strictly adhere to our deposit refund policies. It is important to understand that when you are making a reservation the deposit is like a “payment” for taking your room off of the market and removing it from our reservation system. And, we turn other potential guests away because your room is “off the market”.
All the fees are paid in advance in order to hold your reservation and are non-refundable.
A full deposit is required with all reservations. Reservations for holidays and extended stays (over 7 days) during season; October, November December, January, February, March and April, and during holidays require a non-refundable deposit equal to the entire nights’ stay plus tax at the time of booking.
In the event of a cancellation due to an emergency, the non-refundable deposit may be applied to a future stay.
Season and Holidays-Cancellations to reservations made during holidays or during season; October, November, December, January, February, March or April must be received within 60 days of the reservations. Failure to cancel during this time frame will result in a charge for 100% of the entire stay. For the reservations that are cancelled prior 60 days – 50% would be refunded.
For non-holiday/non-season-Cancellations must be made at least 60 days prior to the start of your reservation in order to receive 50% refund for your payment.
Hurricane Season and Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy We do not refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Guests are obligated to observe the provisions of these house rules. In the event that a guest is in breach of these rules, Ella’s Vacation Rentals has the right to repudiate the agreement on the provision of accommodation services before the agreed period has elapsed. Management reserves the right to deny reservations / accommodations to anyone who violates our policies.
