Fort Myers Beach Vacation Rentals
You just found a great Fort Myers Beach vacation rental!
. . . The one-bedroom, one-bathroom Sky Blue Beach Suite is located on the first floor of Paradise Home.
I like to refer to this little Sky Blue Beach Suite as Honeymooner’s Hideout, because the place is perfect for romantic getaways. Its reasonably-priced rate and the option to book the suite for only two nights make it ideal for young couples, who frequently contact me for last-minute reservations. Private and stylish, it has everything guests need for a little escape from the doldrums of everyday life. Many go out of town for their little escapes. My personal belief is that “We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.”
“He who would travel happily must travel light.” – Antoine de St. Exupery
I run my places with a bed-and-breakfast feel. I want my guests to experience the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico without breaking the bank. I am passionate about hosting Fort Myers Beach vacation rentals.
Although Sky Blue Beach Suite has just one bedroom, four guests can easily be accommodated. There is a good-sized TV, and a 100% white leather couch, which folds out to a bed in the event of four-person occupancy. An extra comforter, pillows and bedding are provided. The living room and bathroom come with new designer furniture.
The kitchen is small, but well-stocked, and is adjacent to the living room. In the kitchen you will find a coffee machine and all of the associated condiments. The table and refrigerator are gently used, but functional. For guests who want to curl up with a good book, I can supply a few. When did you last have time to read a book?
“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” – Gustave Flauberg
About the neighborhood. Sky Blue Beach Suite is in proximity to both the beach and a bicycle and scooter rental place. You can also take the trolley, if you prefer. A 15-minute walk will bring you to Time Square, where you can lose yourself in the festive din of the many bars. If boisterous partying is not your thing, rest assured that your suite is far enough away from the “madding crowd” to guarantee peace of mind.
A short walk will bring you to either of my two favorite breakfast establishments. One is Heavenly Biscuit, where you can get a homemade breakfast for around $5.00. (They only accept cash). After passing about five houses you will reach Estero Boulevard, and Heavenly Biscuit will be on your left. Conversely, Tuckaway Bagel and Waffle Coffee Shop is on the right, and is just a little farther, maybe a three to five-minute additional walk.
There you can sit outside under tropical trees and enjoy a decent repast, washed down with the best cappuccino.
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” – Saint Augustine
Another must-visit eatery is The Royal Scoop Ice Cream. If you go, say hi from Ella. The staff knows me well! Inside the suite you will find a guest book with all of the recommendations, for your convenience.
If you would rather cook your own fare, you can pick up some fresh fish at the grocery store around the corner and toss it on one of the two gas grills.
A washer and dryer are located behind the building.
