Our spontaneous escape to the west coast of Florida couldn’t go any smoother. Ella was a fantastic communicator and a great host. She went out of her way to make our last minute request to stay at one of her beautiful rental units spectacular. The space was cute and cozy, clean and newly renovated, and had everything necessary for a perfect multi-day vacation or just an overnight stay. The bed rocked – so comfy we didn’t want to leave in the morning. Short walk away from the beach, this unit was the ultimate airbnb experience near Ft. Myers. Highly recommended!

Ella’s Vacation Rentals is the place to be! This cabin was comfortable and quiet, just as we hoped! It sits on a hill by itself — no other buildings in view, and although there are other cabins in earshot, we rarely heard anything from them. There are beautiful mountain views from the front porch. The layout of the cabin nicely fit our party of three. Ella made the whole process easy. She sent detail instructions and we found it in the dark with no trouble at all. The property is wooded and rustic while the cabin interior is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen has anything you would need. We didn’t miss having A/C, even in late June, due to the shade of the trees. All the windows open with screens to let in the cool, mountain air. It was a 10-minute drive to Bryson City for plenty of restaurants, or a little farther to the entrance to Smoky Mountains. Very convenient! We would stay there again!

We decided on Ella’s Vacation Rentals. The was highly reviewed all over the web. This large house in fort myers was absolutely wonderful. My two friends and came to fort myers to attend a swimming competition and when we saw the inside of the house we were amazed. We felt like skipping the swim meet and just relaxing in the spaciousness. We had told Ella that we might arrive in fort Myers early and everything was ready for us an hour ahead of time. I do not know where to begin. First of all let me just say thank you to Ella for making our vacation amazing. it was everything we could have asked for and more. Working with Ella was easy as pie. She answered any and all questions. She gave us very explicit directions(thankfully) that brought us to the front door. One inside we found simple elegance. From the wrap porch to coY living space. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin was stocked with everything one could possibly need. We loved being at the top of the mountain and are lucky to have found Bear with Us and Ella. Ella’s place was lovely!! It was exactly how it looked in the pictures and was about a 2-3 minute walk from the beach. We had questions prior to coming and was quick to reply and she was very accommodating to our requests. Highly recommend staying here!!

Ella’s Vacation Rentals is am amazing place! We were in Ft. Myers for a week to watch our son play baseball in his college spring break tournament. Both field locations were 5 minutes away… Our favorite breakfast place (The Oasis) was even closer… Downtown Ft Myers was just as close and had so much to offer we couldn’t even get to it all… Don’t miss the view from the Sky Bar or great meal’s at Ford’s Garage or Capone’s… We also made side trips to Matlacha (Bert’s Bar and Grill) and Ft Myer’s Beach without any trouble at all… If you don’t happen to be get-up-and-go kind of folks, no worries! The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities you’ll need including a washer and dryer… Finally let me say that the owner of the property, Ella, could not have been more responsive and helpful. Our son is a Freshman so we’re looking forward to at least three more March trips down from chilly Massachusetts.

The House is just two minutes from the beach, everything is new and there´s nothing missing (TV, WI-FI, Netflix) Just great!! The beach is great and you have a lot of restaurants around, so you can go walking everywhere. Ella was always very helpful, five stars. What a great weekend,

Ella was very friendly from the start of the reservation. She was very open with information about the space and all the details she provided were accurate. The apartment itself is very nice and easily accommodated the 4 of us. Also, the proximity to the beach is pretty unbeatable. We were able to walk to the water within 5-10 minutes every morning. Also definitely within walking distance to restaurants / nightlife. Very pleased with the experience.

Cozy two room suite as pictured- very convenient location just steps from the water and a little further walk to town. The grill was a nice feature and the back patio was very relaxing. The kitchen is minimal but has all the basics, and they are all in good working order. The town is funky and was a great place to stay for a long romantic weekend together.

The place is great we were two couples and really enjoyed our time. It’s very intimate and the space is limited to some extent. The layout is different than most but the spaces are maximized making it for a comfy stay. It’s meant for two couples that are very lax with each other, since the amenities are shared. As mentioned in another review one room does not have AC directly but with the leaving room AC its sufficient. We even had another couple stay one night and we were all comfy to a point. The decor is great since it updated and it feels high end, the beds are great. That is one thing that I would say, you will sleep great here. The concept is nothing new, its a house that has been divided in to three spaces, we stayed in the middle size which is the one i’m living the review for, if you need a bigger space I believe Ella can provided as well. We loved the location it has many great spots near by, you dont even need your car if you dont mind walking, to us that was the whole point of the trip to enjoy the local spots and the experience. The beach access is about two blocks down at a great location, you are at a good distance from some hotels that tend to have more people, it was super relax and we had plenty of white sandy beach to our selfs, we really loved the sand here it’s unique. We would love to come back in the future… Ella was a great host and she was always avaiable to full fill our needs.

What a great AirBnB! Ella was a great host. My girlfriend and I spent out 1 year anniversary in Fort Myers Beach. It was a fantastic trip especially given the BnB location. It is located less than a block from the white sand beach and near restaurants but just tucked away enough to stay in the neighborhood feeling. The couch in the unit was amazing! It adjusts to double as a bed if needed; I’m looking to buy one exactly like it now! The unit itself was nice and quaint. The blue motif makes it feel welcoming and we were provided with the necessities — shampoo, soap, lotion and aloe vera. All in all, it was a great trip. Thank you for allowing us to stay at the BnB! Can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Ella was a great host. She answered always very fast, it was easy to book the apartment. The apartment was clean and modern, just perfect. There is everything you could need during a stay. The barbecues are create! We always bought meat in the supermarket and had great dinners! In the house are three apartments (we did not know about that before booking) and we stayed in apartment 2. This has access to garden, not to the terasse, which is apartment 3. Nevertheless we could use it as it was not taken during our stay! We were 4 persons in apartment number 2, which is small but large enough. The entrance of the bathroom is from one of the bedrooms. It was good that we knew each other so it was no problem! The beach is really around the corner and the pier is a 15 min walk! Perfectly located! We recommend the restaurant “lehne burger” to eat burgers!!! Have fun! We enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at this apartment. It is located in a great location. Close to good places for breakfast lunch or dinner. We had great breakfast at both the heavily biscuit which is only a short walk from the apartment, and a great bagel shop that specializes in steam bagel sandwiches. For a quickie lunch spot yo taco was excellent. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment but it had a very comfortable bed and was roomy for 2 people 3 would be comfortable 4 would be a little tight. Ella was very nice and allowed us to check out late because no one was renting the apartment immediately after us. This was very convenient because our flight was late in the afternoon so we were able to spend the day at the beach come back to the apartment shower and head to the airport. Over all I enjoyed my time at Ella’s apartment.

During our anniversary visit to Estero Island we stayed at this wonderful place. The apartment made us feel like we were on vacation, and the location reinforced the latter. The place is located one house away from the beach. The peacefulness of out street made it great for morning walks. Bike and scooter rental is walling distance from the unit. We had the opportunity to do a BBQ in the common areas of the property, grill, tables and chairs are available. Captiva Island, Sanibel and Lovers Key are a short drive away!

This Cabin truely is a gem! Thanks to Ellas perfect description we found it easy even in the dark. The interior is very nice with a lot of wood that fits georgeous to the surrounding. The beds are comfy and we all slept very well. The kitchen holds everything you might need, the bathroom was perfect too and everything was very clean. Most of all we loved the special location and the awesome view from the spacious veranda. After our hikes we had a perfect time relaxing on the loungers in the sun looking at the great panorama and our son loved the rocking chair. We can absolutely recommend this cabin and would love to come back. Thank you Ella!
It can’t get any better then to have Europeans as the guess at the mountain cabin. No one called me 5 times to tell me that they can’t see the road because it is covered with the leafs. Ok, it is road, which is located in between the tall trees on both sides, so please use your logic and follow the pass that does not have the trees! Dah! No one needed the directions back to the cabin after they had diner down the hill. It is one mile away, please go the way you came from. Nor was there, the report that there was a crazy spider on the deck. It is the forest and yes, there are animals outside. I can only imaging what a panic it would have been if one, for example, saw a bear?! Europeans are perfect! So independent! So great full! Lars and Sandra please come back! I will give you the discount of the life time! What a wonderful guests that is you are.

Great cabin and so well equipped so glad it was dry and we were in a truck with a high wheel base. The deck with the spectacular view was relaxing for both dinner and breakfast. We also enjoyed the DVDs and CDs that were left for us. Great to have a working gas grill that and a glass of wine were great to enjoy the sunset while making dinner. Great place to stay

It was wonderful! Ellas house is huge! You have so much space! The masterbedroom with the built in bathroom is very cool! Ella has anything you need and when you miss something ella calls and cares about it in minutes! We will come back every time!

Our stay at the cabin was very enjoyable. The living room has nice quality furniture which was very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and was recently renovated with new appliances and counter-top. The bathroom was updated with glass floor tile. The master bed has a memory foam topper, which I liked but my husband found too soft. The satellite TV was not working, but there are DVDs available and wireless internet. The cabin is very isolated on the top of a mountain, with only one other house nearby, located near the town of Cherokee. Ella made us feel welcomed and sent us complete directions with maps. The only thing I would caution guests is that the road up to the cabin is a single lane road up a very steep incline, with switchbacks. In October, the lane was covered by several inches of leaves. Going up the driveway to the cabin was difficult for us because of several days of rain making it slick. Just take it slowly and use low gear. A four-wheel or front-wheel drive is highly recommended.

Ella’s Vacation Rentals in Fort Myers Beach is a great place. My family stayed here and it was wonderful! The place was clean and neat. I received quick responses when i sent emails and received my deposit check in a timely manner. The location is amazing! Literally steps from our door and we were on the beach. If you have ever been at the beach near the north end (Times Square area) you will truly appreciate how much room you have at this location. Trolley stop steps away as well as a 7-11. The Publix is a very short drive away so you can stock up on food. We hope to return there next year a hopefully years to come!

Ella manages Fort Myers Beach rentals well. These apartments are a great value, they are in a residential area just steps from the beach. Everything is very clean and well-equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed having some of our dinners in the barbecue area. The beach is terrific for kids. I love the way everyone walks to the beach to see the beautiful sunset, it seems that it is a daily ritual.

I stayed at the Beach Gem Retreat, on beach access 11 for a couple weeks this month. I really enjoyed my stay . It was clean,well supplied with beach chairs , dishes etc,all comforts of home they even a playpin for my gbabie. The place had a big beach that is a Very small walk to get to I would guess around 5oo ft from the steps of the house to the water.
Although you can’t really see the ocean from the house ,which is a good thing for people with small hyper children,{they are not as tempted to run without you to the beach, } stiill it just take a few steps and you are there. And for those who like the privaicy of a beach ,, this is the place to be.
I walked just across the street and got a ride on the bus to the the main beach time square , cost .50 cent . and was ther in just a few minets. The stores and fast food for kids , very handy,, well I could co on and on about all the great thngs . So I will just say ,it was reasonabily priced and worth it.

My wife and I just returned from a great week in Ft. Myers. It was our first time there but definately not our last. This house was all we could ask for. We were not looking for anything fancy,but we did want a comfortable place to stay that was clean and near the beach. This location was excellent. Steps from the beach,very clean with all the necessary amenities. It is just a minute or two away from shopping, grocery stores,bank,drug stores,ect. Just three miles away from great places to eat out and more private than you would think. Definately plan on renting this house again

This is a very large home with a lot of space. We had six adults and 4 kids comfortably. On Saturday night we hosted guests and the home was perfect due the large family room and kitchen. Also very close to downtown Fort Myers. We were there for an event at the conference center and this was a perfect location.

Excellent stay, just as described! The house was huge and very comfortable for our group. All the linens and towels felt and smelled new and clean, which is something that always makes me feel as though you aren’t just crashing in someone’s house, but that they prepared for guests. We felt very welcomed by our host. Our family stopped by before we arrived to check out the house and they called us to say how wonderful Ella was and how beautiful the house was. We arrived to find a bottle of wine waiting for us and a spotless home.
The space is huge and with 4 bedrooms, two on each side of the house, and so with two couples, we each had a wing to ourselves. The common area was also very large and we enjoyed sitting in the dining room and the living room. We were happy to see how close we were to downtown where we spent a great deal of our time.
Honestly, we would go back tomorrow if we needed a place to stay in Ft. Myers and would recommend any of our friends and family to stay there. As far as improvement goes, I can’t think of any.

If you: Seek mtn-top cabin for 2-4 in W-NC w/private setting, appreciate up-scale yet rustic decor and hope for all this at good value – look no more. Bear with us Cabin is: 1. Conveniently located off 441 Pkwy (<2 mi) yet tucked away amongst gorgeous setting atop mtn. Cherokee, Bryson City and Sylva are all within a few minutes drive. 2. A bit challenging to reach – which made for a fun adventure and unbeatable privacy. 2WD SUV is enough, shifted down to 1st w/a bit of acceleration on 2-3 steep sections. 3. Perfectly laid out for 2BR cabin, comfortably furnished and super cozy. 4. Adequately stocked with all basics, well organized and tastefully done. 5. Like new. 6. We did not miss cable/sat TV, and enjoyed DVD's and Netflix movies while unwinding in evening. 7. At top of our list for recommendations and for future stays.

This was our first VRBO cabin vacation and my husband and I were very pleased with our stay. Loved the location;the mountain view and sunrises are beautiful! The cabin had all the comforts of home. We stayed warm and cozy while watching the snow fall. It was 2*F one morning and thankfully the hot water in the shower was hot within seconds! I didn’t want to leave and I can’t wait stay again 🙂

The house was exactly as pictured. The Royal Blue Beach suite at the Paradise house was nice. Super clean & everything you need is there. Smart tvs in all of the rooms, front & back deck, memory foam mattresses. Great location, quiet neighborhood & close to everything. I had a great stay! Ella gave us very good directions and instructions for the studio. The place is nicely described in her listing. The place was very clean and we loved the decor and colors. Perfectly located and the area is safe. There’s a convenience store only steps away, a grocery store also walking distance and Publix (another grocery store) less than 2 miles. My 2 friends, my husband and I are completely satisfy with our little get away.

The Beach Suite was just as described. Wonderful modern decor, very chill feel. Ella actually happened to be on site when we arrived. Very friendly! The space was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Beach access, ice cream parlor, restaurants….all just down the street, no need to drive anywhere! The only thing to note is the island was busy during this time of year! Plan on traffic getting on the island if you arrive between noon and 5pm for sure. We took a drive up to Siesta Key for one afternoon also. So much to do here whether on a family vacation or an adult only trip!

This place was great! By far the best decorated AirBNB if stayed in! The location on the island is good, just far enough from the main road to be quiet all day. The AC was ice cold, everything was clean. It was just my father and I for the 3 days but we did have a total of 9 people in the house for a lunch bbq on a rainy day and there was plenty of room and plenty of seating. Ella s a great host!

Excellent stay, just as described! The house was huge and very comfortable for our group. All the linens and towels felt and smelled new and clean, which is something that always makes me feel as though you aren’t just crashing in someone’s house, but that they prepared for guests. However, we did not have any incidents and met Ella’s neighbors who were very nice, friendly, and keep an eye out for Ella’s guests.

Our stay was great! It is located 2 minutes walking from the water. It’s far enough from town square that you’re not surrounded by rowdy-ness but close enough that enjoying the town is a hop and a skip away. The condo was quaint and served our needs perfectly. We had a great time.

This cabin was wonderful. It was in a very neat condition and it had a lot of nice welcoming touches: multiples games, a nice contemporary novel on the side table, small items for the kitchen, games for the kids. The location was fabulous and the view was great. The access road is gravel and a little rough to drive but worth as it gives you access to a nice secluded top of the mountain area. It is about 15-20 min to Cherokee and to Bryson City. Highly recommended

This suite is exactly as described on airbnb. Beautiful interior (love the blue), great coffee machine. The bed is very nice and above all else, the beach is a 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay and will be glad to come back in the future. Very much recommended.

The Royal Blue Beach Suite is a MUST STAY when in Fort Myers! Such a lovely apartment in the absolute perfect location. Ella goes above and beyond as a host; so accommodating and friendly with excellent communication skills. The unit is situated in a nice and quiet neighborhood which is less than a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and about 10-15 minutes to downtown. We (a group of 6) stayed there for the 4th of July weekend and had such a great time. We were three couples and we each had our own private bedroom which was great. The pictures shown are very accurate. We had everything we needed there. We used the BBQ grill on the outside deck a lot, along with the amazing Keurig coffee machine. Can’t wait to go back to the Royal Blue Beach Suite!

The house was perfect for 7 of us coming down to fort myers for a wedding! More than enough room and a really nice place. Although we did not get to meet Ella, the house was very clean and we were even allowed to check in a little bit early. I would highly recommend staying here.

Ella emailed us to let us know the house was ready and left cold drinks in the frig. Ella’s house is on the edge of an industrial neighborhood, but comfortable and safe. As other reviews have stated, the house is huge and all updates are of high quality. Five of us shared this house and had room to be together or relax privately. Ella’s house is a work in process and we are sure that each guest will find more amenities as time goes by. We did not have the opportunity to meet Ella, Bit say thank you for a relaxing stay in Ft. Myers.

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures and is literally steps away from the beach! The location is absolutely perfect for a beach getaway. There is a convenience store right across the street and is ideal to get a few groceries, as we made meals every night. Ella was very helpful and responded quickly when there were a few glitches with our lock and we couldn’t get in. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this anyone that’s looking to be close to the beach – it pretty much is your “private beach location”.

Ella was always available for any questions that i may have had. She allowed us early check in and late check out! The place was super cute and was in a great location. The beach was right across the street. You are basically within minutes of things to do such as the pier. The accommodations themselves were great. The place is updated and well stocked. In the back is a washer and dryer as well as a cupboard of supplies if you ran out. We went with a toddler and a baby and the space was good enough. It was a little small but it worked for our needs since we were out most of the day anyway. The bathroom is in the center of the place between the living/kitchen and the additional bedroom so if it was 4 adults it would be a little awkward. There are wall units in the back room and front room not the big bedroom. You will need to leave the door to one room open to get some air. I think addition of fans would help this out greatly.

I recently celebrated my 25th Anniversary at Ella’s beach suite. The place looks just as pictured. It is very modern, cozy, clean and well equipped. The beds are super comfortable as well. Plenty of sitting area outside and grills. Be prepared with plenty of mosquitoes repellents if you plan to spend sometime by the grill during the evening. We had a couple of torches with citronella oil and managed to keep just a few away. The white sandy beach, which is within walking distance was nice and peaceful. Restaurants and music is found a short drive away. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Ella was a great host as she was very responsive. This place and the beach will forever be part of our family memories.

Ella was very sweet and let me know weeks in advance that she would be out of town while we were gone. The place was clean, welcoming, and just as described. Spent 4 awesome days at Ella’s cozy mountain retreat! Cabin offers unique view onto Great Smoky Mountains. It is very clean and comfortable. We spent lots of time on the covered porch staring at the sunsets. Ella (the owner) tops it all with outstanding service and was quick to reply to any questions we had. My family highly recommends this cottage to anyone wanting to unwind in nature, with the comforts of home.

This was my girlfriend and I’s first trip to Fort Myers Beach, and Ella made it perfect! She was always quick to respond throughout the whole process, and was always willing to help if needed! The space was awesome, very clean, and located in a great spot for any sort of activities (beach, Lover’s Key State Park, Time Square, and right around the corner from the best breakfast spot in Fort Myers Beach). My girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our stay at “Bear with Us” cabin. It was delightful to sit out on the deck overlooking the valley. We also really enjoyed cooking our breakfasts and dinners in the well stocked kitchen. Our days were spent exploring the beautiful surrounding area including the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a wonderful place to stay. There were some small glitches but Ella was responsive to our text and email queries. We highly recommend “Bear with Us” cabin.

Bear with me reader – I’m not the greatest at sounding sentimental in a review 🙂 Anyway, we had an excellent time. Ella’s Vacation Rentals is located a few dozen feet from the beach and is in easy walking distance. We were two families with three kids and the distance to the beach and assorted beach toys, chairs, board, and umbrellas were great. The place itself is well decorated with ample beds, furniture, and TVs (which are equipped with functioning cable and Netflix – actively used by the kids at night). We had more than enough space for everyone to lounge about and rest up for playtime at the beach. Much to our pleasant surprise, our host also had available utensils, towels, and even laundry detergent. We were very happy and would totally return.

The house was ideal for 4 golfers. Everything was clean and easy to find. Even when the washing maching needed a repair, Ella collected our laundry and returned it all the next day. The town was a great place to hang out and only a 30 minute walk or $7 in a taxi (UBER would be cheaper). Great house though and we all had a great holiday. Thanks, Russell.

The only real issues we the lack of AC in the living room the fans were ok but not quite enough. Also the larger couch dipped in the middle and was supported by a stone and board. Our stay at the Ella’s Ft. Myers Beach rental was great. Some unexpected circumstances ended up having us moved into the 3 bedroom unit. Ella was very accommodating and everything in the rental was clean and ready for our stay. It was stocked with basic necessities (soap, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, dish soap, bath towels, laundry detergent, etc). The location was excellent and within walking distance of several bars, the beach, grocery store, and most importantly – HEAVINLY BISCUIT on Mango Street. Seriously, go there for breakfast if you stay here. We did have a rental car, and I would advise anyone coming here to have some sort of transportation (at least bikes, if not a car). Lover’s Key State Park is a nearby destination I highly recommend. Also, don’t park your car in the library parking lot and leave it there after hours. You won’t be able to get it out until the morning. Learned that the hard way.

Ella was a very good host. She responded to my inquiries rather quickly. The house is AMAZING. ITs small and cozy. I had a lot of schoolwork to get done, but the internet was fast and constant, which is great to have!! The most important thing is for every person to realize, THAT VIEW IS PHENOMONAL. the sunsets behind the trees, but the clouds above the mountain view change colors and provide a fantastic evening show. The house is on a dirt road, and we did have a bit of trouble finding it in the middle of the night, but it was so worth it to walk into a pristinely clean, newly renovated cabin and wake up to a view of the mountains (Not to mention it makes for a pleasant and challenging walking road in the fall). Most of the neighbors are friendly and we rarely heard a peep from anybody. The nearby towns of Sylva and Dillsboro are filled with quaint shops and hometown restaurants. Ella let us know about a farmstand and it had fantastic veggies and jams. The antique shops were well priced, which is rare. The drive to Gatlinburg is BEAUTIFUL through the Smoky Mountains. We would stay here again and again.

Das einchecken ist total unkompliziert per Code. Die Größe war für uns 7 Personen vollkommen ausreichend. 3 Schlafzimmer und es gab noch eine Schlafcouch. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Vor dem Eingang befanden sich noch Strand Utensilien, wie Sonnenschirm, Liegestühle etc. Wir waren begeistert, da es für den Preis kein vergleichbares Hotelzimmer gab. Die Kommunikation per email war schnell und hilfreich. Vielen lieben Dank für die erholsamen Tage 🙂 Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

The apartment was clean. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach. It was nice that the place is not too close to the pier and large hotels; there was more space on the beach!! I don’t think the suite would be comfortable or private enough for more than 1 couple but for one couple, it was perfect!

I have to say I am very happy with the property and the service provided by Ella. Everything was as described and we were able to get comfortable instantly. The apartment was very clean and cozy. The beach was only steps away. We enjoyed the weekend so much my children did not want to leave. Ella was able to accomodate us when we requested to stay some extra time after checkout. We drove the circle three times to find the exact house, since there was no sign in front of the house. Everything else is perfect though. You can find all the thins you want in the house and the view from the balcony is wonderful!

Ella was a great host and had the house very clean for us on our arrival. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea which was a big help. The neighborhood to us was fine We still felt safe enough to walk downtown. The house had an interesting layout, but it was definitely good enough for us as we weren’t at the house that often. Would absolutely come back if we needed to be in the area!

Ella’s home was lovely – a cabin nestled in the woods with a beautiful porch overlooking the Smokies, a working log fireplace, and very secluded. Only 10 minutes from Great Smokies National park and the highway back to Charlotte NC. Very clean…and Ella was very helpful in all ways!

The home is indeed huge. Overall it was a satisfactory stay and the host was accommodating and responsive. We notified our host that we would be arriving late. It was after 9 PM when we arrived and the home was well lit up for us. We did not have to go into a dark house…this was thoughtful. The neighborhood is modest and mixed, but quiet and not unsafe. It was convenient to our son’s wedding venue and close to Edison-Ford Museum/Estate. The house was clean and spacious with a pleasant décor, tile floors thruout. It would suit a large family gathering easily. The home was air-conditioned by multiple window units and it was cool enough if a bit noisy. The kitchen was well appointed & large, the appliances good. Several overhead fixtures in the family room needed bulbs replaced. Four queen bedrooms but none had a good place to open suit case, (other than the bed), or any drawer space; only hanging space. A simple bureau and suitcase racks or a bench would have been welcomed. This home had multiple small step up and step down throughout the space. It was not a problem for us. The master BR w/ a bath required 2 steps up to access the shower, tub, and toilet. A full laundry room was great since we were there a week. The home was a good value for it’s size & we could recommend it.

Great house one block away from everything you need. Convenient store, bike rental, ice cream, liquor store, and most importantly The Beach! The apt has everything you need, even an air mattress if you have extra guess. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the deck was perfect for an afternoon BBQ. I highly recommend Ella’s place for your stay in Fort Myers.

Ella was very friendly and welcoming in the communications ahead of arrival. The unit was exactly as depicted in the photos. Lots of windows and a nice color palette made it very bright and happy even in cloudy, rainy days. The unit was impeccably clean. Beds were very comfortable. The unit is a short walk to the beach. Also within short walking distance there were a supermarket, nice library, a lovely nature reserve, bank, a very popular coffee house, and shops/food places. Massive road construction project along Estero Blvd made it for nightmarish stop-and-go traffic and difficult walking along that street (this was an unpleasant surprise but we read online that the project will be finished in mid-November). Otherwise, the unit is great for beach, sightseeing, as well as evening activities. We highly recommend visiting Lover’s Key State Park as well as taking a walk around Bowditch Point Park and the Matanzas Pass Nature Preserve.
Ella was very welcoming in her communications, she helped us feel on vacation even before starting the trip! Unit location is excellent. Lots of windows and color palette make the unit very bright and happy. It was impeccably clean. Toiletries and coffee/tea were also nice touches. We loved the no-key door lock!

Die Wohnung war sauber und genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen eingerichtet, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, für 2 Personen ist die Wohnung perfekt. Zum Strand sind es quer über die Straße nur wenige Meter. Ein Supermarkt ist auch nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt. In der Umgebung gab es viele verschiedene Restaurants und Bars. Ein Waschsalon war auch mit dem Auto in paar Minuten zu erreichen. Haben uns wohl gefühlt und kann jeden die Wohnung empfehlen, der ein wenig Entspannung am Meer sucht. Es gab zwar Anfangs ein Missverständnis, aber wir gehen davon das es wirklich nur ein Missverständnis war, da wir hier in den Bewertungen nicht ähnliches gefunden haben.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Coral Reef Beach Suite. The placed look just like the pictures provided and is located just off the beach. Ella’s rainbow suite was perfect for a girls weekend away! It is extremely close to the beautiful, white sand beach and so clean. The grocery store is about a block away, which is convenient. I would love to stay here again in the future!
It’s clean, exactly as described, and much closer to the beach than we expected. You were great to work with, which is much appreciated. We had a little bit of a difficult time finding the place at night as the individual apartments are not labeled as #5 or #6. We actually had another guest try to get into our apartment late at night because they couldn’t find their place.

Ella’s Beach Suite was clean, conveniently located and had all the ammenities we were looking for. With 3 bedrooms (all decorated exactly the same), it was more than enough space for just the two of us. Even though there are two units below this suite, we never heard any noise from the neighbors.

Had an excellent three (3) day stay, and loved the location and area. Everything in the apartment is in good working condition, clean and the apartment was well appointed (lacking nothing). Ella graciously extended requested courtesies and replied quickly. The only “negative” is the major construction project, on the main road, which backs up traffic for miles and makes daytime travel a chore. While this isn’t Ella’s doing, I will postpone future trips until the work is finished.

Ella provided everything we needed including dish washing liquid, towels, soap, pots, pan, etc… It was so easy to just walk in and feel right at home. We relaxed, we cooked and we barbequed during our stay. Wonderful experience!! The unit was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for (4) four women. Smart TV’s in two of the bedrooms and in the living room. We logged into Pandora, Netflix and Hulu during our stay. Heads up: The bedroom with the balcony does not have a TV and will received a lot of traffic since everyone must walk through it to get to the back patio. This place was further from the beach than we had hoped. You will need to cross the main road and then walk over to the public beach entrance. But not a huge deal. I would also not suggest walking to times square because of all the construction and traffic on the main road. Overall: A Great experience. I would definitely rent from Ella again!!

The neighborhood was a little suspect but the location was unbeatable as my sister lived a block away on Palm Beach Blvd. Ella was unable to accommodate my early checkin but was very honest and timely with her email responses and reasons (previous tenant, not host). The two separate “wings” allowed my mother in law to have some quiet/privacy away from us and the kids. Communication with Ella about accessing the home and house rules were very appropriate and easy to understand.
The size of the great room was great for my children to run around. The new sectional couch was AWESOME, allowing for enough space for all to be seated. Love the keyless front door. The dining space was great for Thanksgiving dinner. We added a few things to the house – new bathmat in the purple bath, plastic pitcher in kitchen for drink etc and additional table cloth (flannel backed) underneath current dining room table cloth (to protect against hot plates burning wood) A few more area rugs in the bedrooms (specifically master bedroom).

We rented the 3-bedroom top floor of the Royal Blue Suite for a 30th birthday weekend on Fort Myers Beach. It was a great place to spend a weekend with friends and family with plenty of space, a large kitchen and deck, close to the beach, and within walking distance to many of the restaurants and bars. There is a grocery just a few blocks down for any food needs and a convenience store at the end of the block for quick beer and water pickup. Ella provides a whole packet of restaurant and activity ideas for out of town visitors to help you get a feel for the area. She’s done a great job updating the space with modern decor and comfy beds. We loved the lounge chairs on the back deck! We’ll be staying with Ella for our next FMB trip and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a condo and a great person to work with. We actually met her on the last day when she came by and I look forward to staying in this property or one of her other options sometime soon.

Took a trip to the Smokey Mountains with my family to take a ride on the Polar Express in December. We stayed in the Bear With Us Cabin and it was fantastic! Great location…very convenient to the state park and also very secluded which added to the overall experience. I think we had one of the best Airbnb experience with Ella at Royal Blue Beach Suite. She was on top of everything and everything was exactly as described (or even better). I wish there were more hosts like Ella. The place was very nice and super clean. It was also very private and had a big porch, where you could sit on nice beach chairs. You could also grill food and adore the garden downstairs, which really felt like at home. Beach was a couple minutes of walk and was very nice with fine flour like white sand. Tons of bars and restaurants that were also a walking distance from the place. Basically everything was around. Ella thanks for having us. Hope we will stay again with you. Thanks, Hubert

The provided maps and verbal descriptions were extremely helpful in finding the cabin, as the roads are not clearly marked and difficult to discern a driveway from the gravel road at times.. The guidance documents were much appreciated. Entry instructions were clear and concise.

Ella, was very helpful and responded quickly to my questions via email. This small and quaint duplex was within an easy 3 block walking distance to Ft Myers Beach and only a 20 minute walk to the Ft Myers Pier. The facility had assess to a washer and dryer with laundry detergent available; beach gear including beach chairs and umbrella; and a small but fully equipped kitchen. It was a great price for the location and we would stay here again if needed.

This was such a great New Years experience. We spent 2 nights 3days by the beach. The location was easy to find, entering the home was simple thanks to the lock system. Upon entering it was very clean and spacious. My husband and I traveled with our two boys 8 & 3 who enjoyed every moment. We arrived New Year’s Eve and were able to enjoy the beautiful fire works of Fort Myers pier right from the beach as well as letting go of our wish lantern. New Year’s Day was spent all day on the beach. We took a small tent to stay on the beach and enjoy the day. All our meals were enjoyed in the house I took all the food prepared and marinated as to not waste anytime. The stove and range was small but it works. All linens and towels were very clean thanks. The only thing that was not my taste for comfort was the beds, they were water beds being pregnant as well didn’t make it any better. But even still I would return at anytime. This is enjoyable for families or couples as my husband and I enjoyed a night walk on the beach under the stars by ourselves

This adorable one bedroom condo is just what we needed! Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 9 and 11) primarily needed a place to sleep and clean up after a day at the beach since we spent most of the time with the rest of our family in a larger condo a block a way. The recent remodel made the condo bright and comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful, and the red, black & white motif gives the place a fun, clean, modern vibe. We were pleasantly surprised by the huge, shaded deck in the courtyard, which is perfect for enjoying breakfast in the morning, a good book in the afternoon, and drinks at night. The owner has put a lot of time and effort into restoring the property, and it shows! Once the units in the main building are finished, this is an ideal vacation spot for groups with multiple families who want to socialize together but stay in separate quarters. For us, the close proximity to beach access and Publix makes this the best location on the island. Ella and her staff were extremely welcoming and go above and beyond to keep the condo clean and well maintained. Since it is a cozy space, this is ideal for 2-3 adults only or 2 adults with 1-2 children ages 12 and under. Thank you, Ella, for providing us with a great place to stay! We have already recommended you to family members who want to stay in Ft. Myers Beach in the upcoming year and look forward to renting from you again!

This rental was clean, safe, and accurate as described. The space is very small and worked fine for my wife and I. I think it could have accommodated my two young kids as well if we had them with us, but I think it would be too cramped with more than 1 more adult joined us (although technically, it can sleep six). We had no contact or interactions with the host outside of the initial house instructions that were sent to us after booking and we didn’t need too. Everything was as described. Other notes: -The mattresses are very soft (a foam material). -The area is very congested. This location was actually good as it is only slightly removed from the congested area. As there is only one road to get off of the island, this is close to that road and limited the traffic that we sat in. -It is walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bike rental places. -It is about a 15 minute drive from Lover’s Key State Park and beach which I’d recommend.

I rented this place during the Thanksgiving holiday and since I have a 18 month baby , I requested an early check in. The owner responded immediately to my request and allowed me to check few hours earlier. I was very pleased with this place. It was clean, endowed and most importantly, very close to the beach.

The stay we had was very cozy, comfortable and was an incredible value with absolutely nothing wrong with the property. Ella was absolutely wonderful and super helpful. She even opened the house early and even allowed us to do split payment. She was very accommodating and would rent from her again. The wifi was fast and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. We had tons of towels, pillows and a crazy amount of room which was great for the group we had. Also we got to see a whole flock of ibises in the backyard which coming from Chicago we really had no idea what they were, it was awesome. Overall we give the house 4 1/2 out of five but there were a couple of things that future renters may want to know: -While the property lists the home is available for 10 people the amount of beds sleeps only 8, with a remaining l shaped couch and futon as the listing explained. -While the house has 2 bathrooms we found the water heater struggled to keep up with the demand. If someone was in the master shower and someone jumped into the second shower at the same time the water temperature dropped quickly. Also filling the master bath took quite awhile. Even while running no other water in the house.

I am working on putting an extra futon or a sleeper or something that increase that sleeping comfort for some are traveling with children and they may want each to have a separate bed. The water heater was set on lower setting (I was explained by the plumber) Now it is set on the highest capacity! The cabin was clean and well equipped. It was secluded so we didn’t have to worry about neighbors bothering us. The only issue we had, which was minor, was that there was no cable to connect the DVD player to the TV. I ran to the dollar general in Cherokee and got one and after that had no problems whatsoever. Would recommend and go back.

Ella was a great host and she was very understanding. The kitchen was way more equipped than I expected and the place itself was very, very nice. The best part was that the beach was super close to the place and was not crowded at all yet had enough people that we didn’t feel too alone. It is the perfect place for Spring breakers as well being that although the beach is very calm, you can find loads of fun down the street at places like Lani Kai which is only just a short trolley ride. I 100% recommend this host.

Ella’s Vacation Rentals is A Place Of Happiness On The Beach. This condo is SUPER cute. The furniture & decorations are so colorful and bright that you can’t help but smile when you walk in the door. Even though we had a car, we walked to the grocery store, to the beach and to several restaurants because it was so convenient. We loved being close to everything but not right in the middle of chaos. The arrival process was simple and the place had just about everything we needed … kitchenware, beach towels, a space heater for the outside porch 😉 & extra linens. My 1 warnings … the Internet connection is weak. We ended up running off of our data card because we couldn’t upload videos and articles. No bueno for Internet Marketers, let us. Overall, we give it a thumbs up and a great place for a nice get-away.

Immaculate newly renovated with great location!. Park your car and do not get behind the wheel again. We enjoyed three day escape to beach, (public access just across the road) and Publix shopping a short walk away. Small kitchen with great new appliances and utensils makes grilling on the new deck easy and most enjoyable after watching sunset on the beach. Perfect for two people! Paula Becker

“Ella’s house was perfect and exactly what our group needed for our week long stay. It’s a short distance to downtown Fort Meyers, with a little bit longer time to the beach (non harbor). The house is so large, the photos doesn’t do it justice. We felt like we had plenty of space for personal spaces as well as group spaces. Ella is very upfront of what to expect (which is a good thing) and was so accomadating to our large group. The only downfall is the master bath doesn’t really close off the bathroom (except for the toilet) but we got creative with that one. The neighborhood is quite safe and quiet with plenty of space for any group. Very happy with our time at Ella’s and hope to go thru her again next year. ”

Ella’s Vacation Rentals: Great location and a cozy studio. Like I said – great location. There was a good bit of spring break traffic as there aren’t many ways off the island, but it was fine. The space was clean and adequately furnished. My one issue would be the air conditioning unit. We were unable to figure out how to have some air without being frozen out. There was a preset temperature of 64 I believe, so that was too cold; but it was too hot to have nothing, so we kept turning it on and off. If the weather had been better, this would have been a perfect stay! Ella did a very nice job fixing up this little cottage, and it really is steps from the beach. We felt safe and comfortable. It is in a convenient area and an easy drive to many places, including Sanibel and Captiva Islands, which we would recommend highly! Ella listed several restuarants in the area which we did try, and found some other great ones on our own. Sadly we didn’t get to experince the beauty of the beach and water due to the cold and rainy weather, but we would still recommend a stay here, especially since there is plenty to do in the area. My wife and I and mother and father all stayed at the Aqua Beach sweet and it was wonderful. It was at a great location to a three minute walk to the beach. The condo is especially clean and relaxing. The decor is. The beds are comfortable and makes afternoon naps great. It was really nice to have beach umbrellas and chairs provided for everyday use. The back porch was great with a picnic table for afternoon lunches. Ella was a great host, very accommodating, and very adjustable with her schedule. She allowed us to check in early due to early flight arrival and check out a little later due to late flights on Sunday. We would absolutely recommend this place for anyone who stays in the Fort Myers Beach area.

hank you Ella for a great stay at Ft Myers Beach! The condo unit was exactly as described, modern, newly renovated, clean and a perfect fit for our family of four. There is a ton of outdoor space to enjoy and the public beach access is directly across the street. Having a Publix grocery store a block or two down the road was incredibly convenient. It is approximately a 2 mile walk down the beach to the heart of the action in Ft. Myers Beach, yet you’re far enough away to have a wide open beach to enjoy. If our travels ever bring us back to Ft. Myers we would definitely stay here again.

The two condos we rented for our beach family reunion were bright and clean. All family members loved the memory foam mattresses! Two short blocks from the beach and an easy walk (about 1 mile) to the pier and Time Square on Estero Island. The neighbors were quiet and pleasant. The kitchens were smallish but adequate for making family meals. Deck and patio at the rear made for pleasant mornings and late afternoons. We had a bit of a hiccup in gaining entry to one condo initially, but problem was resolved in a timely fashion.

The 2nd floor apartment was clean and the beds were EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE! Kitchen was equipped well. The location was 3 houses from the beautiful beach. Although we had a glitch in one of our bathroom sockets, it took a few days to have that fixed, but Ella was there with wine and chocolate to repay our days without electric in the bathroom. Loved the keyless locks.

Our stay at Ella’s royal blue suite was perfect! There were 6 of us who stayed in her apartment. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The apartment is exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed to cook with and of course the Keurig was nice bonus too. We went to the beach multiple days which is just a hop, skip, and a jump across the road. Literally the house was located in a perfect location. Everything is in walking distance and walmart was only a 10 minutes drive away. I would absolutely recommend Ella’s rentals again and will definitely stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at Blue Ray Beach Escape. It is in a great location, about 3 1/2 miles from the downtown area. We arrived on a rainy day, so did not encounter traffic that day. We stopped at Publix for groceries about a mile before Flamingo St. The apartment is what you see in the pictures. The decor is kind of retro funky beachy, fun! Ella’s kitchen is extremely well-equipped and she provides K-cups for morning coffee. (We wound up eating our breakfasts and most dinners in, most lunches out.) I loved the couch. My husband really loved the shower! Blue Ray is on a beach access path and you can see the beach from the house. It was a beautiful beach, but unfortunately the weather was cool while we were there, so my laying-on-the-beach with a book plan was foiled. We took some great walks though, and sunsets were amazing. The main negative is the traffic on the island. Our first day it took 1 hour to go 3 miles toward downtown. We stopped at Royal Scoops for ice cream and the nice lady suggested we leave our car in her parking lot and walk the rest of the way. We did a loop through downtown and the park, went on the pier, and walked back on the beach. Very nice. But after that traffic experience we did not venture downtown again – too bad. Instead we went to restaurants heading south – Charley’s Boat House Grill, Pinchers, and The Fish House, all very good. We also went to Lovers Key Sate Park, which is a great facility and beach. The other negative is that the internet is not very good. My husband had some work to do so he was frustrated at times. All in all though our stay was a nice one. We like to try different places, so I am not sure we would go back to Fort Myers Beach, but if we did I would definitely consider Ella’s rentals. We appreciated Ella sending us a rebate – nice surprise!
This was a great spot for my wife and 5 year old to stay and enjoy the area. It was very clean and well maintained with a lot of new furniture including the kitchen and bathroom. We packed very lightly for a week at the beach and it was a good thing because space is limited in this suite. There are two very small bedside tables with drawers we are able to store a few shirts and socks in but there are no other places to hang or store clothes. It would be nice if at least some hooks on doors and the walls could be added to help keep stuff off the floor. It is quite small but fine for a couple with a young child. There is a great shaded deck/patio which is fairly private and you are literally right across the street from a beach access which makes going to and from the beach every easy and enjoyable – if you forget something it’s only a minute back to the suite to get it. It is also walking distance (about a block) to the grocery store which is very handy. Ella communicated well and once when our internet went down on a rainy afternoon she responded within the hour and the service was back working again. The location is a fairly quite neighborhood (at least no big parties when we were there) and even though it’s one house back from the main road on the island we didn’t hear any traffic noise. If you plan on staying and cooking meals there are adequate pots, pans and utensils but that’s it. we were expecting at least a few pantry items/ seasonings etc. to be there either as stocked by Ella or left from previous visitors but it was bare. This meant we had to buy all the basics for cooking meals – not a huge deal but different than some places we’ve stayed.
Thank you for your kindness and write a such detailed review. Yes, the weather was unusual, since the rainy season start in summer. I wish I knew the issue about the closets. We have a portable closet under the sink that easily assembles and easy to fit right next to the bed, where you can hang all our close. I should have pointed out. I would like to start by saying that everything was wonderful and very clean and organized at this suite. We absolutely LOVED where this house was located, it’s basically right on the beach! We went as a family of 3 and it was the perfect place for us, there were all the necessities for the beach and even beach toys for our daughter. We were in Fort Myers for a family reunion . The location was very close to downtown and all the places we needed to be . Not a ” fancy ” neighborhood but we were also not paying a big price . We had 8 people and were very comfortable plenty of room to gather together or get out of each others hair. ..haha . Everything we needed ,clean ,comfortable beds . This house is very centrally located and was a great value for our vacation. We were able to get to the beach and the spring training baseball facilities within 20 minutes. It could use a little bit of landscaping which would get it another star in my book. Otherwise, we were very happy with the house.

This was my first experience with Airbnb and could not have been better. Location: This is an amazing spot in Ft. Meyers. It is not in the heart of Ft. Meyers beach, but this is a good thing. It’s close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. And most importantly its a 1 minute walk across the street to the beach! Property: Newly renovated and has everything you need to enjoy your time in Ft. Meyers. This is a great unit for two couples or a family of 4. It is more than enough space for just a couple too. Host: Ella was prompt and helpful from the day I booked the reservation. She was helpful in answering my questions and always friendly. I even left something in the condo after I had left. She was extremely helpful in getting it shipped back to me quickly. Summary: If you’re looking for a great spot that isn’t part of the tourist crowd you can’t go wrong with this place.

Spacious, inside and outside, very private and clean. We had no problem finding the cabin with Ella’s excellent directions. The views were spectacular and the location was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the deck had plenty of seating areas. We also highly recommend the Great Smokey Mtn Railroad train thru Nantahala Gorge – just a few minutes drive from the cabin and we were on a train with more spectacular views.

I took a short but much needed vacation with my two nieces in their twenties so I had to make sure the beach house I rented would impress them. When they walked in the house, they definitely showed me they approved. Even with one bedroom, there were other beds in another room that opened up to the deck so there were 3 beds total. Since we were on the 2nd floor, the view from our deck was awesome! Even though we were across the street from the beach, the direct view of the ocean was just perfect. The short walk across the street was fine! The deck in the back of the house was also a plus and the property had easy access to the main road. The grocery store was less than a mile so you can walk or bike. The rental also has a laundry facility along with chairs and beach towels you may take down to the beach.

Our family visited Fort Myers to celebrate father in-law’s 80th birthday. Could not stay at their condo – so had to find something else for our family of 6. This place was perfect! We could rent it for a long weekend. Since it was only 1 block from the beach – we spent several hours walking the beach. Kids also rented kayaks from down the street which was a wonderful way to spend Sunday morning. The accommodations were just as advertised and very comfortable. We enjoyed the large back deck and the deck in the front looking at the beach. We are looking forward in returning to Fort Myers Beach in the coming years and would consider renting this place again.

Stayed in Million Dollar Beach Suite (#3)So many great things to say about this entire property! First, our suite was 100% as described and photos were not enhanced. It is just as immaculate, pretty and the view is exactly as shown. 2 bedrooms w/ air conditioners kept the entire space cool. The murphy bed in the closet of the main bedroom (oceanview) was as comfortable as the other 2 beds. This space sleeps 6 very comfortably and 2 more on a flip couch if needed. This unit was great for our experience as we did not spend any time inside, we sat on the deck overlooking the ocean whenever we were not at the beach which was just steps across the street. A group wanting more seating inside may want to look at any of the other 3 units in this house. As for the property overall…I was able to go into some of the other units and they are ALL impeccably decorated in bright, Florida colors and Ella has put great thought and detail into utilizing every ounce of space. One unit was still being completed and not once did we hear construction noise, nor did we hear our neighbors with 2 kids next door to us. The upstairs units share an awesome deck overlooking the water with numerous tables and chairs. The lower units share a covered porch with ceiling fans and cozy hammock swing! On the back side of the house is a huge deck with tons of seating, grills and a shed with laundry. A bunch of the renters gathered on the deck one night, grilling and sipping cocktails. Fun atmosphere! I also want to note, we still could not hear the crowd when we were inside our unit. Lastly, among all of the attention to detail (grills, grill utensils, coffee, cleanliness, fresh beach towels,wifi etc) Ella also provides a supply of beach chairs, not just cheap chairs either, they are very nice, high quality backpack chairs which are easy to carry to the beach. Ella herself was immediately responsive to any questions (which were few). I do not have one bad thing to say about this experience, I was incredibly pleased and impressed! Note to renters for consideration: I suggest grabbing a bag of ice from the grocery store a block away. If you have guests who have difficulty climbing stairs, I suggest one of the lower units. Otherwise, if you are looking to be a little bit away from the chaos of Times Square but still a trolley or bike ride away, this is absolute perfection. We walked to Publix and grilled out at night while watching the sunset from our deck. !

Your review made me smile. I do my best staying on top of the cleaning personal to keep the place immaculate. The place was built in 1923 and AC units are the only thing that could be installed in the historic building (vs. central AC). Those units are oversized, to make sure that the entire place is cool! I am glad that you mentioned the there was construction noise. I would not have placed it on the market if there was. I know that seen a man with paint stains on his pants gave away that one of the places is being given a beauty lift!

It’s a very beautiful and well maintained cabin. It’s secluded, quiet and just what we we were looking for. Thank you Ella for giving the directions to the cabin. The gravel road can be a little hard to maneuver especially at nights. I would strongly suggest reaching the cabin when there is light. I just wish we could get in touch with Ella more easily while we were at the cabin.

We had a wonderful vacation at the beach house. We have 3 kids 8 and under and I was overjoyed with how close the beach house was to the beach. 3 houses away on a dead end street, so no traffic and no streets to cross. There is a mat covered walkway that you need to walk on, but it was an easy enjoyable stroll. The house had plenty of bedrooms, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Sheets, blankets and pillows were soft too. The house was nicely decorated and was well stocked with towels. Ceilings are low, our 6’2″ guests had to duck in doorways. However, it was well worth the “ducking”. We had a fabulous time and plan on returning soon, duck and all. :).

Not many places on Fort Myers Beach have that. The place was one of the first few places that were built on the Island and that is why they did not think much about the hight of the ceiling. The beds have designer mattresses that are less then one month old. I am glad you like them. We really enjoyed our stay at Sky Blue Beach house. It was very close to the beach and the bike rentals. Ella answered all of our questions. There was a binder with information about the area in the unit. The only negative was that the internet (wi-fi) was very slow, but we were on vacation so we didn’t really need it. Quiet street. Ella’s Cabin is on a great and quiet location. Up on a hill in the woods with a spectaculair view on the smokey mountains. We arrived late in the afternoon and were able to directly sit back and relax on the large deck in the evening sun. Cabin is clean and well furnished and has everything you need in the kitchen. Ella was a very accommodating host. The suite is in the heart of Fort Myer’s Beach. We slept with the windows open and got to feel the great sea breeze. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and she loved the bright colors and the low platform bed. The patio outside of the suite is great for relaxation!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bear with Us Cabin. The slope leading up to the parking area was a bit difficult to get up to with our Honda Civic, but after some maneuvering it was definitely doable. The cabin is beautiful inside and out, and the porch has an incredible view!

Ella’s cabin is the most amazing place. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable, has a huge front porch and a full kitchen with good cookware. Best of all, it has a full view of mountaintops from the front porch and total privacy. We were only there for 3 days/nights, but we easily would have been content to stay there for 3 months. It’s so peaceful and serene. We walked a very nice hilly loop through the whole hidden, wooded neighborhood, and could have been happy just doing that activity alone each day. But the Great Smoky Mountain National Park was nearby, so we went there to hike too. All in all, a very memorable experience. We could easily go back and do it again.

I normally ask all my guests to communicate via AirBnB, where I have my help assisting me to make sure that all the guests are OK while I am away. I am glad that you liked the place. I am sorry for BlueRay/TV. Some people say it is great and some find it confusing. Each guest changes the settings and I have no knowledge or control to make sure that all is steady. A group of friends and I had the pleasure of staying at Ella’s beach house last week and would come back in a heartbeat. Ella made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. When we arrived we had plenty of towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, and beach gear for our entire stay. The unit was squeaky clean and decorated beautifully, honestly the pictures dont do it justice. The unit was larger than I was expecting, with the extra bed and the pull out sofa it can easily sleep 7 but we only had 4 and were all able to sleep comfortably and with our own privacy. The house is about half a mile from the city strip with tons of shops and fun things to do. We rented scooters for 2 days and explored the beach with those, which I highly recommend, it was such a fun way to get around. The property was literally across the street from the white sandy beach and you have everything provided from beach chairs, to umbrellas, and more. Our unit had 2 large balconies, the top floor balcony has views of the beach and was beautiful for brunch, the lower balcony has tons of seating with 2 grills perfect for an evening of grilling out. I have no complaints from start to finish Ella made herself available anytime we had any questions and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was enjoyable. We plan on booking again next year and I would recommend this property to everyone. Wish I could leave more stars!
My boyfriend and I wanted a mini vacation, it was definitely needed. We didn’t know where to begin so of course we googled it. After looking at multiple places we found Ella’s vacation rentals! Immediately when we saw it we looked at each other and we knew. The place when we got there was exactly what you saw in the photos. It was beautiful. Super modern and super elegant. We even had the beach right across the street. Ella was simply amazing. Answering every text. Being there whenever we had a question. Just simply amazing person, very sweet. We will forever remember this trip because he proposed. And I said yes. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ella’s Lovers Key. It’s small, but was just fine for the two of us! Really love how modern, clean and sparkly the unit is! The location was just perfect for us. Enjoyed being just across the street from the beach, that was never crowded. Oh and Derek caught the best Snook he has ever caught right off that beach!!! Times Square is not to far away, but far enough that we did not have to deal with the congestion that sometimes occurs around that area of Fort Myers Beach! And Publix was just a block away! Ella’s place was perfect for a family vacations. A few blocks from the beach with several restaurants within walking distance. My family loved the Royal Scoop ice cream shop nearby. Ella’s place was clean and comfortable.

My Dad and I really enjoyed our stay. We sat out on the covered porch the majority of the time. The place was very nice on the inside and really clean. I would definitely go back there. Even though there was no channels on the TV I was able to use the DVD player to access Netflix. The HDMI cable was missing so I just went to a local store and picked one up and it worked perfectly. Let me start off by saying I have been vacationing in Fort Myers Beach for 15 years. I have stayed several hotels however this was the first time I rented a property by owner. I was a little nervous at first because the hotels are usually beachfront and I wasnt so sure how close the proximity of this property was going to be in reference to beach access. I rented the bottom condo which have three rooms. The property has keyless entry which was very convenient. The property was clean and had everything you needed. I am a mother of three children and the washer and Dryer were very convenient. The property has everything in the kitchen from toaster , blender , coffee machine, plastic garbage bags, salt, pepper, plastic plates, dish washer soap, shampoo, conditioner, you name it! The rooms were very spacious! The living room too…it even had a sofa bed! There was no central ac but that’s ok …as long as you kept the bedroom doors open the air just flowed straight in. The last room was big enough to put my sons playpen which was great! The beds were very comfy!They also had an extra twin bed in the storage closet–I did t get any use of it since we were a smaller party. The house is a little dated –at least the kitchen — but still kept organized and clean. There is enough parking space in the front and back of the property. There are also several barbecues with gas and charcoal. We grilled outside with the convenience of chairs and tables outside. Now in reference to the beach…u r within seconds of walking distance ..you don’t have to cross the street or anything…you can almost say beach front lol… I have a 4 yr old, 11 yr old and 8 month old. It was very convenient. Beutiful beach and sunsets with a family friendly environment! Overall I wouldn’t stay in a hotel again. The owner was quick to email me/text me about questions I had! Great stay!

I have never used VRBO or done any vacation rental this way before. I was initially a bit uneasy on the details but everything worked out great. I haven’t received my $150 deposit back but I assume its coming. We just checked out three days ago. With regard to the property, it was GREAT. Very clean, newly remodeled. We spoke with the guy doing the remodeling and were able to look at a unit that he was finishing and would like to return and bring more people. It was just the two of us this time so the small unit worked nicely. The area is very nice, Heavenly Biscuit, Beach-Brew-and-Bakery and Lover’s Key will be repeats for us. We drove in with our Son ,Daughter in law and grand daughter May 4-7.Beautiful location across the road from beach access and close to shops .Amazing view from the deck and with the patio doors open can lay in bed and watch and hear the waves.Would definitely stay here again!

Ella has done everything to make sure her guests have a great stay in Fort Myers. From the decor to the location, its a great deal. My two friends and I went for a girls trip and we couldn’t have been happier. The place is exceptionally clean. It has very cool decorations and furniture. She provided things such as beach chairs (plenty for all renters), beach towels, wi fi, etc. It’s literally directly across the street from the beach. I would not suggest you take small children as the furniture is all white, lots of glass decor and not really kid friendly (this from a new grandma). However adults please go and enjoy! Also be sure to take quarters if you plan to do laundry as it’s coin operated. Not a big deal just be prepared. Also grab a bag of ice before getting to the place as there wasn’t an ice maker. Again no big deal just saving folks a trip. Thanks Ella for the great place to stay and we are already looking at dates to return.
Eleonora is very accommodating. She is quick with her responses and wants to make sure her guests are taken care of. The house is larger than I thought and very comfortable for a big group. We stayed there for a travel baseball tournament, the house is very close to the baseball fields, which worked out great for us. I would recommend this house and would stay there again.

The location was amazing, we were looking for a clean flat that was close to the beach but not too close to all the action. Ella’s was the perfect place and would come back again for sure. Romantic, fun and relaxing. Ella’s recommendations were helpful and if you love Oysters go and get them at the Yucatan Restaurant they were cheap and amazing!!! $14.99 for a dozen…..

We loved Ella’s house! It was exactly as expected and pictured. On the day of arrival the cleaning crew was running late and Ella reached out to us well in advance and to apologize for any inconvenience. She even left a bottle of wine for the delay!! She was a gracious host. The house was literally a stone’s through from the beach. And Ella had the house stocked with beach chairs, towels and boogie boards!! Yay!! There’s a washer and dryer too, complete with detergent….which was helpful!! The beds were extremely comfortable. Tvs and wifi were easy to work and in good working condition, as were all other appliances.

Myself and four other friends stayed at Ella’s Royal Blue Beach Suite for a weekend bachelorette party getaway. The location was perfect for us as it is walk-able to many local restaurants (including the ice cream parlor!) as well as the beach. We had everything we needed during our stay and would stay here again for a future visit to Fort Myers Beach.

Amazing location!!! I rented the place out for my grandparents to stay for the weekend and they loved it. Super close to the beach! You can walk there in less than 5 minutes. The apartment was very clean and modern. The lights were out in the bathroom but that was quickly fixed. I was able to get in touch with Ella fairly quickly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to explore the Fort Myers area. Restaurants and other activities are very close by.

Our stay was great! Ella’s procedures for everything we needed were super easy (getting in the apt, setting up wifi, etc.). We loved the location too (Only thing better would have been beachfront, of course!). The place wasn’t big, but we were only there to sleep and shower, so it was perfect for us.

I would give this place a 4-star rating because the location and view really are amazing (5-star ++). The cabin, although clean on the inside, could definitely do with some general maintenance. Outdoor furniture hasn’t been cleaned in a while, there’s a wasp’s nest on the porch, we had to buy our own toilet paper, etc… Nothing bad, but a little disappointing compared with our other airbnb experiences so far. We still had a great time at the cabin and would certainly come back!
Dear Iris, I am very happy to get 4-star review! I live full time in Florida and do my best to manage the cabin on the remote. The wasps! I have requested the pest maintenance from the maintenance guy, yet he said that the place has to be vacant after the spray for at least 24 hours and since the cabin is booked back to back it was very hard thing to do. The regular spray that one can get at home depot is not all that efficient and do not lass long… We have finally succeeded and all was well taken care off. In summer the little critters in the forest sure think that the cabin is theirs LOL I am glad you mentioned the outside furniture. I will have a talk with my cleaning lady. This place has the best views around. The house is very comfortable and well-stocked and the porch is amazing. We loved having our coffee in the morning there and watching the sunsets. We couldn’t see another house from the porch but we weren’t far from the neighbors, making it a perfect mountain get away. Hikes and groceries are a short drive away! However, the driveway is a challenge, and we recommend doing it during the daylight the first time!

Let me start by saying I am a hospitality industry professional for the past 20 years and I perform QA and review consumer complaints on hotels for a living and have the option of staying just about anywhere and very happy with this choice. The listing and the pictures were spot on. The place was well stocked with everything we needed. Beach gear, cooking utensils, plenty of towels, even down to laundry supplies. The Keurig was a luxury touch. We brought in our clothes and groceries and immediately went into vacation mode. We had 4 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room, we never felt crowded or in each others space. We cooked out on the grills both gas and charcoal was available and we enjoyed the outdoor dining patio area. Overall it was an amazing experience and I will definitely book our family vacation here again.

We had such a great time at Ella’s cabin! The views of the smokey mountains alone made it perfect! It’s in a perfect location which made it easy to go explore all around the area! It was also extremely nice to have our own kitchen and grill to use after a long day of hiking!

We had an amazing experience in Florida. The beach was not crowded. Ella, our host, took words such as “accommodation” and “care” to a whole new level. Upon the completion of the on-line reservation, she directed us to her personal website, which was like Travel Guide. There we learned more about our host and felt comfortable using her facilities – she made us welcomed! The site had plenty of info about the local area and recommendations for restaurants, bars, etc. There was also a page on how to join her VIP club, which automatically gave us a discount on our stay. We told all our friends about Ella’s Vacation Rentals and we can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much!
