Happy New Year to all of you!  According to one of my sources about 85 people are coming for the New Year Celebration and I have many more reaching out to me via my website as well as other online site.  Total, it will be over 100 people.  It sure like a good party to me.  Many of my guest are asking, so what is happening on the New Year in Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach?  I decided to extend my respond to the broader audience and see if I can assist to many travelers who come to South West of Florida for this special day, the New Year 2016.

My number one recommendation would be to stay close to the Fort Myers Pier as much as possible!  Nothing can compare to the beauty of fireworks and its reflection in the waters of Gulf Coast of Mexico. The warm wether and cool and fresh breeze from the sea . .  .  The white sand at the beach is so fine, so it looks just like snow.  The christmas ornaments are hanged on the palm trees.  It is simply magical! Welcome to the sun shine state and smile. Life is beautiful.

So, for some of you foodies out there, you may want to eat before the fire works, so you may want to place a reservation at Nervous Nellies, which is very close to the Pier.  Of cause there may other restaurants will be open for business for the New Year.
